About us.
NorwayDomain is a one-person business run by a Norwegian citizen based in Oslo. Someone who has spent years working in this market and wants to help you get into it properly.
I started NorwayDomain in early 2026. The idea came from years of watching international businesses struggle to get a foothold in Norway, because the local requirements were a wall they could not get past.
The .no domain situation is a good example of that. Norway requires a local entity to hold one. Most people either give up, overpay a corporate provider, or end up with a trustee that never really explains what they signed. I thought there was room for something more honest and more human.
Alongside this, I run other online businesses, mostly in affiliate marketing and digital projects within the Norwegian market. So this is not a side project. Norway is where I work every day.
- Finance degree, Norwegian School of Economics (NHH)
- Several years in Norwegian affiliate marketing and online business
- Network of Norwegian publishers, site owners and content people
- Multiple online businesses running alongside this one
Working in Norwegian search, content and affiliate marketing has taught me things you cannot pick up by reading about Norway from the outside. Here is what that looks like in practice.
How Norwegian search works
I work in Norwegian Google every day. I understand how the local search landscape is structured, what earns trust here, and where this market differs from others. Norway is not just a translated version of somewhere else, and treating it that way rarely works.
A real network of Norwegian websites
Over the years I have built genuine relationships with Norwegian site owners, bloggers and publishers. These are people I actually know. When it comes to getting links or content placements in Norway through organic means, I have doors I can knock on.
The Norwegian affiliate world
I know which programmes operate here, how to get accepted, and what Norwegian audiences respond to. If you are trying to get started in Norwegian affiliate marketing, I have been through it and can help you avoid the mistakes that waste the most time.
What Norwegian consumers expect
Norway is a market where trust matters a great deal. People research carefully, expect transparency, and notice quickly when something feels off or foreign. I understand how to present things so that a Norwegian visitor feels comfortable rather than suspicious.
A .no domain is just the first step. If you want to go further, I can introduce you to the right people and share what has actually worked for me over the years.
- ✓Norwegian publishers and content sites open to collaborating

If you need more than a domain to get going in Norway, I can help with several of the surrounding pieces too. Just ask and we will figure out what makes sense for your situation.
Have a question or want to talk through your situation?
Get in touch and I will get back to you within one business day. If a call works better than email, just say so and we will sort something out. I am also happy to connect on LinkedIn, Facebook or WhatsApp if that feels more comfortable. Just mention it in your message and I will reach out on whichever platform works best for you.
